This graphic novel tells a story about Alexa moving to Savannah to get away from her horrible past. Her past has caused her terrible hardship as her parent’s criminal acts quickly makes her an outcast. Thankfully Fae, Chloe, & Skye aren’t high on the social ladder and give Alexa a group to feel comfortable in. As she finally settles in with her new friendships, she realizes there is something dark and mysterious sinking beneath the cracks of Savannah’s gothic streets. The girls discover that they might not be fully human after all, as an ancient fay power flows through their veins.
Maverick was created to connect the young adult community with stories they could see themselves in. To find themselves within the pages or in this case, to find a new love they never saw coming!
