Mad Cave Studios and Papercutz, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Publishing, expand the galaxy with STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU — DANGER IN THE DARK, the first-ever original comic one-shot starring The Mandalorian duo Din Djarin and Grogu. Set just before the events of the upcoming film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, this all-new story brings Grogu into his first kids’ comics appearance, pairing humor, heart, and high-stakes adventure.
Written by fan-favorite creator Delilah S. Dawson (Star Wars Adventures, Star Wars: Forces of Destiny), with pencils and inks by Arianna Florean (Star Wars Adventures), layouts by Mario del Pennino, and artists including Brent Schoonover (Star Wars: Tales From The Outer Rim -The Legend of Beggar’s Canyon) Ramon Rosanas, Juni Ba, and more to be revealed, the one-shot also features the return of the Anzellan droidsmiths in all their chaotic charm.
Synopsis: A hidden danger looms deep beneath the surface of Nevarro, and it’s up to the Mandalorian and Grogu to stop it! Joined by a courageous crew of Anzellan friends, Din Djarin and his foundling venture into the lava tubes underneath the city to defuse a crashed pirate ship, facing creepy creatures and perilous obstacles along the way. But with the planet’s safety on the line, can Grogu learn to listen to Mando’s guidance? And can Mando balance teaching Grogu with letting the little guys lead? Don’t miss this high-energy story full of humor and heart!
