each member of our team plays a unique role in crafting the Mad Cave experience.

Adam Wallenta

Senior Editor – Papercutz

Adam is an award-winning author, illustrator, publisher, and the Senior Editor at Papercutz. He oversees a variety of creator-owned and licensed properties including Herobear and the Kid!, Three Thieves, Secret S.T.E.A.M. Society, Flash Gordon Adventures!, The Smurfs and many more. Adam loves helping authors and illustrators bring their dreams to life. He is always looking for new stories with interesting characters, and exciting journeys, that entertain and inspire readers of all ages. Adam lives in the Pizza Capital of the United States with his awesome family. When he isn’t making comics or mentoring young artists, Adam can be found building Lego, watching old movies, or doing his best to play sports with his kids, who are way more coordinated and athletic than he is.

Cara O’Neil

Cara O’Neil has joined Mad Cave Studios as its new director of marketing. Most recently, O’Neil served as VP of marketing at Dark Horse Comics, where she held multiple positions within the marketing department since 2018, managing titles including The Umbrella Academy and Berserk.

Publisher

Chris Fernandez is the Publisher at Mad Cave and has also edited titles including Stargazer, Dry Foot, Nottingham, and Battlecats. Outside of comics, he likes to spend his time playing soccer, reading up on current interests, and exercising with his partner and two brindle pups; Zuko and Han.

Christina Harrington

Senior Editor

Christina Harrington is a Senior Editor at Mad Cave Studios, where she edits books across several imprints, including The Mushroom Knight and Dick Tracy for the Mad Cave Studios line, Scoop and The October Girl for Maverick, and Double Booking and Amelia Shadows at Papercutz. She loves stories with complex protagonists, well-developed emotional centers, and worldviews that can find the magical in the mundane. Christina enjoys a good book and a craft beer–she lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband, their dog, and too many comic books.

David Reyes

Graphic Designer

David Reyes is a Bogotá graphic designer passionate about branding, lettering and vector illustration, Happy to be in Mad Cave Studio a group of people committed and passionate about the world of comics.

Diana Bermúdez

Graphic Designer

Colombian graphic designer with 10 years of experience. Her work in comics has become a space to experiment, learn, and discover new ways stories can be told through design.
