Meet the Creators!

Writer, Michael Carey
Mike Carey (aka M.R.Carey) is a writer in many different media both print and audio-visual. He worked as a teacher for fifteen years before resigning to write full-time. He worked extensively in the field of comic books, completing long and critically acclaimed runs on Lucifer and Hellblazer before making his prose fiction debut with the Felix Castor novels.

His 2014 novel The Girl With All the Gifts was a word-of-mouth success and has sold more than a million copies worldwide. He went on to write the screenplay for the book’s movie adaptation which starred Glenn Close and Gemma Arterton. Carey’s most recent work includes the Pandominion duology and Once Was Willem. He is also the co-writer, along with his wife Linda and their daughter Louise, of two fantasy novels, The City of Silk and Steel and The House Of War and Witness.

Artist, Pablo Raimondi
With a career spanning almost three decades, PABLO RAIMONDI is an Argentine-born artist whose professional journey began at Marvel Comics, gaining prominence for his work on Excalibur with Ben Raab, Madrox and X-Factor with Peter David and Books Of Doom with Ed Brubaker. His artistic contributions also extend to Superman and Batman for DC Comics. In 2017 he expanded to creator-owned projects, co-creating, co-writing and illustrating Sacred Creatures, a supernatural thriller published by Image Comics, alongside Klaus Janson.
