Our annual talent search has officially returned! This year marks our 6th anniversary of the highly-anticipated annual talent search! With submissions open to creators all across the globe, we are always blown away by the breadth of talent submitting. By running this talent search our goal is to give aspiring creators the opportunity that many people can only dream of: having their work published!
We are excited to announce that, this year we will be searching for one writer, one illustrator, one colorist, and one letterer to work on an upcoming project slated for 2024. This search is specifically for diverse talent with a unique voice that has yet to work with or be distributed by a major publisher.
Each submission must be based in the world of any Mad Cave Studios’ title: Battlecats, Dahlia in the Dark, Nottingham, Hunt. Kill. Repeat, etc… Each creator may send one submission, but keep in mind that the project you could potentially be working on may or may not be set in the same universe as your submission.
The contest begins on May 1st, 2023, and runs through July 28th, 2023. Every entry submitted during this period will be considered by our editorial team at Mad Cave Studios. We will reach out to each winner individually, with a formal announcement following in August!
