Dan Abnett is a multiple New York Times bestselling author and an award-winning comic book writer. He has written more than fifty novels, and is especially celebrated for his Warhammer 40,000 fiction, and Doctor Who novels for the BBC. In comics, he has written for many different characters, including Superman, Judge Dredd, Aquaman, Nova, Legion of Super-Heroes, Vampirella, Red Sonja, and Justice League, and his run on The Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel formed the inspiration for the blockbuster movies. He also writes extensively for the games industry. Dan lives and works in Maidstone, Kent, in the UK.

Artist, Manuel Garcia
A native of Salamanca, Manuel Garcia started his career drawing Robin #92 and The Spectre #7 for DC Comics, before doing his first work for Marvel, The Avengers #44-47. He also worked briefly on Vampirella for Harris Comics and a couple Star Wars related titles for Dark Horse.
After that already brilliant start, Manuel has created are for most of the most important Marvel and DC characters, from The Flash or Countdown to X-Men, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Black Widow and many others.
As a lover of classic comic strips and characters, this opportunity to draw the adventures of Flash Gordon along with Dan Abnett is a dream come true for Manuel.

Flash Gordon #0 arrives in comic shops on April 8, 2026, and serves as the official prelude to the new ongoing arc beginning with Flash Gordon #16, where the final order cutoff is April 9.
