Mad Cave Studios has received nominations across four categories in the 2026 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, reflecting the publisher’s wide-ranging catalog of science fiction, crime comics, and gothic horror.
The nominations include Best New Series for Temporal, the mind-bending sci-fi series exploring time travel, identity, and generational trauma by Stephanie Williams and Asiah Fulmore, with Williams also nominated for Best Writer for her work on Temporal and others. Dick Tracy, the hard-boiled revival of the iconic pulp detective, contributed to Francesco Francavilla’s Best Cover Artist nomination, while Our Soot-Stained Heart, the emotionally raw gothic horror story, contributed to Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou’s nomination for Best Lettering.

The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards are widely regarded as one of the comics industry’s highest honors, celebrating creative achievement across comics and graphic novel publishing. The 2026 Eisner Award winners will be announced during San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 24, 2026.
