Mad Cave Studios and Tatsunoko Production are launching Speed Racer, the brand-new ongoing series and the first entry in a larger universe that will include Racer X and Speed Racer: Tales from the Road. Set in a neon-soaked future where racing isn’t just a sport—it’s survival—Speed Racer blends turbocharged action with gritty family drama and high-stakes emotion.

A former crime reporter turned Ringo Award-winning comic book creator, David Pepose has written titles such as SPACE GHOST, SAVAGE AVENGERS, FANTASTIC FOUR, HULK, AVENGERS UNLIMITED, DARTH VADER: BLACK, WHITE & RED, SPENCER & LOCKE, GOING TO THE CHAPEL, THE O.Z., SCOUT’S HONOR, and much more. Raised in St. Louis, David now lives in sunny Los Angeles with his understanding partner, their rambunctious terrier, and at least six deadlines.
Artist, Davide Tinto (Speed Racer)
Born in Naples, Davide Tinto graduated in 2002 at the Artistic Lyceum of Cardito (NA). He attended the three-year comics course at the “Italian School of Comix” of Naples (2005/2008).

Mark Russell is an Eisner, GLAAD, and Ringo award-winning comic book writer and author. His previous titles include The Flintstones, Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles, Second Coming, Not All Robots, Superman: Space Age, and many others.
