Synopsis: A tavern boy’s sheltered life is overturned by the arrival of a towering, draconic woman, a wayward soldier from a distant war who single-handedly lays waste to his entire village. He swears an oath of righteous vengeance, but in order to fulfill it he’ll have to seek training… from the warrior woman herself. Ferocious is epic fantasy on an intimate scale, a revenge thriller like no other, one that stirs the heart as it goes for the jugular.

Writer, Luke Piotrowsk
Luke Piotrowski is a seasoned screenwriter and former high school teacher whose literary approach to genre storytelling and unique ability to craft memorable characters, dialogue and scares has made him a sought after voice in the world of horror filmmaking. A lifelong devotee of comic books and graphic novels, he’s thrilled to finally be able to create within the medium that’s been such a powerful influence on his work. (Film credits include: The Night House, Hellraiser and She Rides Shotgun)

Artist, Emanuele Ercolani
Comic book artist, art director, and stuntman based in Rome, active on the international scene since 2024. He has collaborated with top publishers including Image Comics, Sergio Bonelli Editore, and Mad Cave Studios. For Image Comics, he illustrated the story “Pussy Control”, written by Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash, Nightwing, Revival), featured in Mirka Andolfo’s Paprika: Black White and Pink 2.

At Mad Cave Studios, he completed Ferocious, a dark fantasy horror series penned by Luke Piotrowski, screenwriter of The Night House and Hellraiser. His work with Sergio Bonelli Editore includes an episode of Dragonero, written by Luca Enoch, co-creator of Gea, Lilith, and Dragonero, and one of Italy’s most acclaimed comic writers. He is also the co-creator of Kitsune, a 6-issue mini-series published by Scout Comics in 2022. Earlier in his career, he contributed to projects for IDW (The Crow: Memento Mori #3), Heavy Metal Magazine (Akai Misaki), and J-POP Manga. He is currently working on his latest comic, the webtoon The Burning Pledge.
