Thank you, San Diego Comic-Con!

After a whirlwind weekend brimming with signings, meet and greets, and delightful surprise appearances, we find ourselves back home, finally taking a moment to recharge after our exhilarating second journey to San Diego Comic-Con!

This year, our return to SDCC was nothing short of spectacular as we arrived with our imprints Maverick and Papercutz in tow, accompanied by exciting partnership announcements for cherished classics such as Flash Gordon and Gatchaman.

From captivating panels to enchanting Smurfy surprises, our time in San Diego was a thrilling adventure from start to finish! Delve into our official recap below and relive the magic of this action-packed weekend!

We kicked off San Diego Comic-Con with a bang, beginning with a day filled with signings and previews of some of the most-anticipated Mad Cave titles, featuring Mark London, David Pepose, and Amit Tishler! We also had the privilege of hosting a surprise signing of our Ringo-nominated anthology, Lower Your Sights, with bestselling author Jim Zub!
On Friday, we had the chance to hang out with our friends over at San Diego Central Library for a day filled with Papercutz goodness! From panels featuring critically-acclaimed cartoonist Art Baltazar, to q&a with Gabriel Valentin, creator of our highly-anticipated middle grade series, Digital Lizards of Doom, we had a blast filling the day with some great Fall reads!

We had plenty of Smurfy surprises in store for Saturday, with a panel celebrating the 65th anniversary of The Smurfs and a surprise appearance by Brainy Smurf! Plus, we had the chance to preview our highly-anticipated upcoming original graphic novel, Paper Planes, with award-winning author Jennie Wood.
