Thank you, San Diego Comic-Con

After a busy weekend filled with signings, meet and greets, and surprise appearances, we’re back home and resting up after our second year at San Diego Comic-Con!

This year, we returned to SDCC bigger than ever, with Mad Cave Studios and Papercutz! We shared a special surprise for Maverick fans with an early preview of our highly anticipated original graphic novel, Confetti Realms, by Nadia Shammas! Jennie Wood stopped by for their signing of the award-winning graphic novel Paper Planes, and some lucky attendees walked away with the Maverick year one box set in their hands, winning our Maverick giveaway!

From busy panels to fun surprises, we had a weekend full of action in San Diego! Check out our official recap below!

We kicked off San Diego Comic-Con with a bang, beginning with a day filled with signings and previews of some of the most-anticipated Mad Cave titles, and leading into a signing with award-winning author Jennie Wood, creator of our upcoming original graphic novel Paper Planes!

On Friday, we had the chance to hang out with our friends over at San Diego Central Library for a day filled with Papercutz goodness! From panels featuring critically-acclaimed cartoonist Art Baltazar, to q&a with Gabriel Valentin, creator of our highly-anticipated middle grade series, Digital Lizards of Doom, we had a blast filling the day with some great Fall reads!
