The First Of Many – Maverick Launches with Needle and Thread

Miami, FL – Mad Cave Studios’ new Young Adult line, Maverick, announces its first title, Needle & Thread. This original story is about how choosing between living the life you want and living the life you’re “supposed to” is not always an easy choice. Noah wants to embrace his true-self and pursue his passion in costume design, but his traditional parents refuse to approve his choice. Azarie is the perfect daughter of a very stern, political family with dreams of embracing the hobbies she secretly loves, hobbies her social circle would never abide by.

Their two different lives and social statuses keep them from ever crossing paths until a chance encounter exposes their mutual goal: the desire to live the life they’ve chosen for themselves. Together, the two set out to show everyone who they really are through the unlikely medium of cosplay. Their friendship will be tested, their faith in themselves and each other will be tried, but by staying true to themselves they discover that they truly need each other to achieve their goals.

Maverick was created to connect the young adult community with stories they could see themselves in. To find themselves within the pages or in this case, to sew a friendship together that you never saw coming.
