The weekend kicked off with a bang, with Melissa Meszaros (Don’t Hide PR) interviewing Nottingham creators David Hazan and Shane Connery Volk– including the announcement of the all-new anthology series, Tales from Nottingham!
You can check out the full interview and announcement here!
Throughout the weekend, we were lucky enough to meet up with several creators from our benefit anthology, Lower Your Sights! These creators kindly stopped by our booth to sign a very special few copies of Lower Your Sights, to be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting Voices of Children.
We’re so grateful to have been joined by comic heavy-hitters Jim Zub, Chas! Pangburn, Liana Kangas, and Rich Douek for our first-ever panel at NYCC, Art & Its Power to Heal, spotlighting our benefit anthology Lower Your Sights!
Comic book illustrator Sean Von Gorman stopped by and spend some quality time with Senior Editor Chas! Pangburn
“It was wonderful to booth at New York Comic Con. Mad Cave has been making big moves in the industry, so it was great to see that translate into record-breaking sales and foot traffic. After four days of talking to past, present, and future collaborators, my voice is MIA, but I’m already looking forward to next year’s conversations, hugs, and handshakes.” said Mad Cave Studios’ Senior Editor, Chas! Pangburn.
Throughout the weekend, we had the immense privilege of hosting signings and live drawings from talented creators such as Art Baltazar, Joe Corallo, Andrea Mutti, and Joseph Schmalke!
“Mad Cave feels like NYCC is our home. After exhibiting there for the last six years, we’ve met many folks and have to say they all feel like family at this point,” said publisher Chris Fernandez, “ Not only was it exciting to see the show appear to be as vibrant as ever, but it’s also exciting to see how hungry fans were for more comics and graphic novels. We always love to drop some major news at NYCC, and I expect next year to no different. Needless to say, I am already counting down the days to next year.”
Again, we’d like to thank everyone who came and spent time at the Mad Cave booth at NYCC 2022!
The madness continues from October 28th through the 30th, when we make our next stop in Baltimore, MD for Baltimore Comic Con. Keep your eyes peeled, and make sure to follow our socials for updates on where we’re headed to next!
Here’s to next year!
